All of this happened to Theo Ogden, who is only 22 years old. This young man started posting videos of football matches on YouTube at the age of 13, combining his boyish passion and entrepreneurial spirit that brought him millions of views. But also a hint of envy. Or contempt. Maybe 'contempt' is too strong a word. Or maybe not.

Appearances can be deceiving

"I really love my life. I am living my dream. But there are some not so nice things like people accusing me of being arrogant or impudent",

says Theo in one of his rare appearances at @alestopodcast at YouTube.

Theo Ogden has 1.6 million followers at YouTube, almost 700k at Instagram with profile named @thogden.

"The biggest impression in my life must be meeting Lionel Messi. He knew who I was which was really shocking. I follow him all my life. Went to the Barcelona game in my early teenage years just to see him live. And now he gave me his signed shirt as a present. And dedicated...!"

Theo went to Qatar at the start of 2024. year to participate in charity match between digigtal influencers and football stars.

"My passion led me to almost every country in the world. My mom who is of Russian descent and my English father supported me all the way. But mom is worried that something might happened to me. So far its been great."

Impressed with atmosphere at Red Star- Partizan basketball game, which is not his first love (basketball), he wanted to come back to Belgrade as soon as possible.

"I loved it. Now I am here because of the football game. People are really nice to me."

It is not like that all the time and at the social media especially. Theo has been accused of various things. For example that he is not enough qualified to participate in football related shows, that he use people, that some of his impressions are calculated etc, etc.
